My Precious Belonging

God knows what was the time,
When He made You mine.
Indeed, His creation was divine,
And in my life, along with You came sunshine.

The fights we had,
Were not at all bad.
The chit chat chatters,
Which had the icings of laughter.

Our debates and quarrels,
Which never ended with morals.
You always, lovingly, provoke me,
To get my reaction, maybe.

The concern and care,
May disappear some day.
But let me tell You something buddy,
You will always belong to me.

Somewhere down in my mind,
There are these feelings lined.
I wonder how did we meet,
Do You remember? Was it during the summers heat?
For only one thing I’m thankful to Steve,
For he introduced You to me.
And then we became friends,
And hope so to be till the end.

Your generous and helpful nature toward me,
Always set my soul free.
Whenever I needed inspiration or suggestion,
I turned to Your direction.
Maybe, you are my Chandler, that’s why,
Please don’t ever ignore me from Your life before saying goodbye.

Somewhere down in my mind,
There are these feelings always lined.
Many a times as my strength,
You boosted my confidence.
Sorry as am falling short of words,
I just wanted my feelings to be heard.

The Reality

I like the view,
Of me and You.
Just don’t, please, walk away,
Come close enough,
So I could get the perfect view
So I could feel Your heartbeat
So I could feel Your touch
So I could feel warm
Please don’t write me off yet.
The thought of You leaving I can’t stand,
Its like pins and needles running on my back,
And a lump in my throat threatening to choke me to death.
The more I want You,
The more You are walking away.
You may never know,
How far we could go.
Just take a step back,
And join me by my side.
Come and hold my hand,
And fill the emptiness in me.
All I know is,
Together we are meant to be.
Like a drought land longs for rain,
So is my soul longing for You.
Because only You complete me,
And brighten my world,
Which consists of only me and You.
But now You are gone and would never come back,
This is reality,
Where I am alone.

Man of My Dream

Like every girl I believe too,
The Man of My Dream is coming true.
I was in sixth grade,
And His first movie ‘Jism’ was great.
The hot, sizzling and boldness,
Left me speechless.
When this; mum realised,
I was totally terrified.

I knew, I was completely screwed up,
And was trembling like the chattering of cups.
Still, like every girl I believe too,
The Man of My Dream is coming true.

For the flamboyant hair and the unshaven face,
I said, “He is truly the Man of My taste.”
Due to His sustainable cult and a chic sense of style,
I dreamed of me walking towards Him down the aisle.
He in black tuxedo and I in white gown,
Made Bipasha frown.
Later, the first kiss and first dance,
I thought its luck by chance.
Still, like every girl I believe too,
The Man of My Dream is coming true.

Our penthouse was awesome,
Where our family blossomed.
The twins, a baby girl and baby boy,
He named the girl Sarah and the other Joy.
To complete the family frame I got a dog,
Who did nothing, except hop.
After all this, I thought is it a dream,
And was thankful to God that I could cross this stream.
Still, like every girl I believe too,
The Man of My Dream is coming true.

Even after fifty years of married life,
He said, “You are the world’s gorgeous wife.”
I thought happily, thus Mr. And Mrs. Abraham lived happily ever after,
Meanwhile I was distracted by some loud laughter.
And then I realised I was in sleep,
Yet, the joy in my heart being with Him was deep.
I know, someday we will meet,
When destiny will play its beat.
Till then, like every girl I believe too,
The Man of My Dream is coming true.
